【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftheeffectsofcleaningsolutionsandliquidcleanerconcentratesonpaintedaircraftsurfaces(Note1).Streaking,discoloration,andblisteringmaybedeterminedvisually.Softeningisdeterminedwithaseriesofspeciallypreparedpencilswhereindeterminationofthesoftestpenciltorupturethepaintfilmismade.Note18212;Thistestmethodisapplicabletoanypaintfilmthatisexposedtocleaningmaterials.MIL-PRF-85285hasbeenselectedasabasicexample.Whenotherpaintfinishesareused,refertotheapplicablematerialspecificationforpanelpreparationandsystemcuringpriortotesting.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
