【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverspolyvinylchloride(PVC)flexiblesheetingwhichisusedforconstructionofconcealedcontainment-membranes.Examplesarepondsandlakes,canals,reservoirs,landfillliners,coversandclosuresorsimilarinstallationswherethemembraneisinaccessibleoncetheconstructioniscomplete.Includedarerequirementsformaterialsandsheeting,testmethods,workmanshipcriteriaandmethodsofmarking.ThisSpecificationcoversun-reinforcedflexiblesheetmadefrompolyvinylchloride(PVC)resinastheprimarypolymerintendedforuseingeomembranes.ThisspecificationcoversPVCsheet0.25mmthrough1.5mmthickness(0.010in.through0.060in.)-typicallyusedforgeomembranelinings.1.2ReworkedmaterialsmaybeusedinthisproductinaccordancewiththerequirementsinSection.1.3Thetestsareintendedtoensurequalityandperformanceandarenotintendedfordesignpurposes.Testshavebeenselectedtobeconductedprimarilywithliquidsthatsimulatetheenvironmenttowhichthemembranewillbesubjectedduringactualuse.Thetestandpropertylimitsusedtocharacterizethesheetarevaluesintendedtoensureminimumqualityfortheintendedpurpose.Inplacedesigncriteriasuchasmaterialcompatibility,chemicalresistance,amongothers,arefactorsthatshallbeconsideredbutarebeyondthescopeofthisspecification.1.4Thevaluesstatedinmetricunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedinparentheses(English)areforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
