【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulforqualitycontroltestingandfieldinspectionofpipingsystems,pipelines,valves,andcontainersthatareexpectedtoretainliquids.Itisnotsensitiveenoughforleaktestingwhentoxicorexplosivegasisexpectedtoberetainedunderpressure.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthetestingofcomponentsforleaksbypressurizingtheminsidewithaliquid.1.2Thistestmethodcanbeusedonpiping,valves,andcontainerswithweldedorfittedsectionswhichcanbesealedattheirendsandwhicharedesignedforinternalpressure.1.3Basicproceduresaredescribedbasedonthetypeofinspectionused.Theseproceduresshouldbelimitedtofindingleakageindicationsof4.5X10-9mol/s(1X10-4Stdcm3/s)176;orlarger.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
