【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationoftheashcontentofpetroleumproducts,suchasdistillateandresidualfueloils,crudepetroleum,lubricatingoils,waxesandotherpetroleumproducts,inwhichanyash-formingconstituentspresentarenormallyconsideredtobeundesirableimpuritiesorcontaminants.Ashcanresultfromoil-solubleorwater-solublemetalliccompoundsorfromextraneoussolidssuchasdirtandrust.Themethodisapplicabletoproductshavingashcontentsintherange0,001%(m/m)to0,180%(m/m),butdoesnotapplytoproductswhichcontainash-formingadditives,includingcertainphosphoruscompounds.Theanalysisofunusedorusedlubricatingoilscontainingadditives,usedenginecrankcaseoils,lubricatingoilscontaininglead,orcertainnon-hydrocarbondieselfuels,shouldbedeterminedusingISO3987,whichincludesasteptoproducesulfatedashofhighermeltingpoint.NOTE1ForthepurposesofthisInternationalStandard,theterm"%(m/m)"isusedtorepresentthemassfractionofamaterial.NOTE2Withcertaintypesofsamples,thetestresultsmaynotaccountquantitativelyforallthemetalcompoundscapableofforminganash.Someunusedlubricatingoilsanddistillatefueloilscontainmetalinorganicadditivesoflowmolecularmass(e.g.sodium,potassium),wherethemetaloxidemaysublimebelowthetemperaturesspecifiedinthisInternationalStandard.note:1)ISO3987:1994,Petroleumproducts—Lubricatingoilsandadditives—Determinationofsulfatedash.
